  1.      The utility file SRXTEST.COM that accompanies this README.TXT file
  2.      and an AUTOEXEC.BAT file is provided for testing your pc to see if it
  3.      uses an SX processor chip and if so, if the processor in your pc can use 
  4.      an upgrade processor whose availability is yet to be announced, but 
  5.      whose target date is the later part of the fourth quarter 93.
  6.

  8.      The attached file SRXTEST.COM is a program which will tell you whether 
  9.      or not a 386SX can but upgraded.  To use this program it must be run 
  10.      under a "clean" DOS environment.  Thus I recommend that you get one 
  11.      3.5" and one 5.25" floppy and format them as bootable disks to 
  12.      guarantee a "clean" DOS environment.  See instructions below:

  14.      1. Format floppy disks by typing
  15.                 FORMAT A: /S <enter>
  16.      
  17.         Note:  For low density disks use the following Format command
  18.                 3.5" disk:      FORMAT A: /S /F:720 <enter> 
  19.                 5.25" disk:     FORMAT A: /S /F:360 <enter>
  20.      
  21.      2.  Copy the autoexec.bat file accopanying these files to your
  22.          bootable floppy
  23.                 COPY AUTOEXEC.BAT A:\
  24.  
  25.      3.  Copy SRXTEST.COM to the floppy disk
  26.                 COPY SRXTEST.COM A:\
  27.      
  28.      4. Put the floppy into Drive A: on any system and reboot
  29.                 From DOS:       <Ctrl><Alt><Del>
  30.                 From Windows:   <Alt><F4> the <Ctrl><Alt><Del> 
  31.                 From OS/2:       Press right mouse button
  32.                                 Select Shutdown
